Marlene is a beautiful gray and white 2-year-old kitty with tabby stripes. She was transferred from another shelter because they needed more space. Shy and sweet, she loves to be petted but has a sensitive back and will let you know when she has had enough. She would do best in a home without other cats, because she wants all the attention for herself. A calm quiet environment, perhaps with older children, would suit her best. She has been spayed and microchipped and has all of her vaccinations, so she's ready to go home with you today. Please stop by and meet sweet Marlene!
The adoption fee helps in covering the medical treatment that has been completed. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, testing for FIV &FELUK, rabies vaccination, wormings, and flea and tick treatments. If you are interested in adopting this pet, first visit our home page, www.nassauhumanesociety.com to complete the adoption application , view hours of operation, see other pets available or just to get directions to the shelter. You can email or fax your application. If you have other questions you can call the shelter @ 904-321-1647 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We cannot hold a pet for adoption, therefore if you plan on traveling to the shelter please call before you leave to assure the pet you are traveling to see will be there. Some of our pets are in a foster care home with a volunteer and if you wish to meet those pets an appointment will need to be made. Thank you for considering one of our shelter pets for adoption.
