Maxwell's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maxwell's Story...
We think that age is just a number because you would never know that sweet lil' Maxwell is 15! He is a Chihuahua and is already neutered. Maxwell used to live with other dogs, cats, and birds so we think he'd do great in a home with other animals! Maxwell is missing a few teeth and we will continue to keep an eye on his health and update accordingly. As far as we know, he is pretty healthy for his age! Maxwell is nervous of strangers initially but does warm up once he knows you. He would really like it if any children in the home were older than 8 years. Do you have a place in your home for Maxwell to live out his golden years?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxwell, a Michigan City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
