Scooby knows the commands sit, down, paw, other paw and takes treats very gently from your fingers. He is great in the car, and wonderful on leashed walks. He is also housebroken as well as crate-trained.
Scooby is a very happy, goofy, playful boy who is extremely friendly with people. He loves every human he meets. And, he seems good with other dogs.
Because he still enthusiastically jumps up on people, he’s probably best in a home without small children and with someone willing to continue his training. He does tend to bond strongly with one person in the home – usually male - and can guard them. For that reason, he is looking for a dog-experienced person who doesn’t mind crating Scooby when necessary to keep him safe.
To meet and possibly foster/adopt Scooby, please contact Sue at email@example.com or 630-964-8535.
Scooby is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Cry For Help Rescue. He is currently being kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois and would love to get out of the kennel and into a loving home.
