Ivy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ivy's Story...
Ivy the shih tzu is an 8 year old, spayed female. She is the sweetest, mellow, yet playful pup. She is about 7 pounds overweight though. She has a fighting weight of 20 pounds, but it's more to love. She loves other dogs, people, and pays no mind to cats. She is fine around children. Ivy walks really well on a leash and actually really enjoys walks. She is house trained and doesn't care to be stuck in a crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivy, a Denver Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
