Sandy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sandy's Story...
Sandy is a Lab mix, ten months old and weighing almost 16 pounds. She will remain on the smaller side when full grown. Sandy is full of puppy energy and just loves her playtime and going for long walks. Yet she is also an affectionate little girl and loves her cuddles. Sandy is very good with other dogs and is even good with cats. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Sandy is available for adoption in either Vancouver or Victoria, B.C. She has been fully vaccinated, dewormed and spayed. If you are looking for a loving companion animal who enjoys exploring the world around her, contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Vancouver Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
