Maple is approximately 16 weeks old. She was found abandoned on a busy highway when she was just 12 weeks old. She is in a foster home with several other dogs. She loves to play! She wrestles and romps with the larger dogs in the home. Being that she's a puppy, she can tend to play a little rough with the smallest dogs in her foster home (Chihuahuas), so a forever home with medium to large sized dogs would suit her best.

Maple loves to meet new people and make new friends. She can be slightly reserved at first with men, but quickly warms up and starts wiggling and showering them with love and kisses. Maple loves stuffed toys, chew bones and rope toys! Maple is crate trained and nearly housebroken. She's still a young puppy, so she has an occasional accident. However, if you watch her closely, she will warn you when she  needs to go out.

Maple, being a hound mix, will require secure fencing in her adoptive home, and an active family that will exercise her daily. She is an active, fun, happy-go-lucky girl that would be a wonderful addition to a family willing to invest time in obedience training and fun activities.

All adopters must submit an adoption application, references, and will have a home visit performed before meeting Maple.

About Tri State K9 Lifeline, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Tri-State K9 Lifeline will assist rescues and shelters by pulling, fostering, networking, transporting and LOVING shelter dogs in need.

We are a non-profit rescue group formed to help the neediest dogs and puppies in our area — the strays, the orphaned, the abandoned.

Our Mission Is…

To rescue and provide sanctuary for stray and abandoned dogs and puppies and do our best to secure for each of them permanent, loving, responsible homes.
To promote respect and compassion for all creatures through humane education.
To reduce pet overpopulation by increasing public awareness of the need to spay and neuter companion animals.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations made to Tri State K9 Lifeline are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. All proceeds from donations go strictly toward the care of our dogs. We are a volunteer-run group and rely solely upon donations and fund raising as we receive no government funding.

We’re here to help you form a lifelong relationship with a friend and provide a life that, for some dogs, has never been known.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are fostered in the private homes of our dedicated volunteers. Meet and greets are by appointment only after the paper application is received and approved.

Our Adoption Process...

We facilitate lifelong relationships between our rescued animals and their forever families by reviewing a thorough application, contacting vet and personal references and conducting our meet and greet in the potential new family's home to insure the dog and human connection is a good match for everyone! Adoption fee is $200. All animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped.
