Platano's Story...
Hi, I'm Platano! If you're looking for a cuddly buff tabby to keep you company and match the color of your favorite frothy fall drinks, you've come to the right kitten! I'm best known for my playfulness and for wrapping my paws around any hand that reaches for me. I just love people, what can I say?

I was rescued from the mean streets of LA and taken in to the Kitty Bungalow, where I was given the gift of friendship, which I now spread to everyone I meet. Now, I'm ready to find a forever home and curl up with my new family to watch cheesy holiday specials on television.

This season, I'm wishing for a new home, and a new sibling, too! All any kitty wants is a companion to have around, and I'm no exception. It'd be awesome if one of my Bungalow friends were adopted with me!

I've been fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped, so make an appointment today to come and meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Platano, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
