Meet Poppie--the sweetest little senior dog you will ever meet.  Poppie is an 11 year old schnauzer who weighs 13 lbs.  He is super sweet and gets along well with everyone. Poppie is great with other dogs and he loves people.  If you are a retired couple looking for a quite and very well behaved little buddie then you have found him in Poppie.  Poppie is house broken.  When he heads to the door you need to be right behind him.  Just a quick trip out and he is ready to come back in.  Poppie does like a quick walk and is happy to go a for a short walk every morning--a good way to get business done and get the heart pumping.  Poppie is great on a leash and trots happily along beside you.  He also loves to go for rides and will sit in the passenger seat or in your lap.  Poppie is great in the house.  He finds a comfy little bed and curls up and goes to sleep.  At night he is the perfect cuddle buddy.  He lays down beside you, goes right to sleep and does not move until the morning.  If you are looking for the perfect companion and do not mind a senior then Poppie is the one for you. He is neutered, current on all his shots and microchipped.  To learn more about Poppie please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615/943-7311.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.

About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
