Sweet little Nana is so tiny, so chubby and so cute! This beauty is looking for an adult only home or with older, respectful children. She would prefer being the apple in your eye. Nana is very sweet but shy with new people. She isn't a fan of dogs and would prefer being the only pet in the household. Nana is cuddly, trained to use pee pads and walks well on leash. She is very small and can get underfoot, so best suited to a human that isn't concerned with tripping over her. Sadly this girl finds herself at the shelter after living with her guardians since she was a puppy. As you can imagine this has turned her life upside down. All she needs is a human committed to keeping her for all her days. Nana is getting a dental cleaning prior to adoption as her teeth are in rough shape. Nana isn't a fan of being alone and would love a guardian with plenty of time to spend with her. Come give this wee one a second chance at love!

About Our Shelter...

See our website at www.spca.bc.ca/Burnaby for all of our current adoption prices, hours of operation, etc.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
