This adorable guy is Stanley. How someone could be so mean to such a handsome gentle guy like our Stan is beyond me. Stanley, in spite of his past, loves everyone. People and canine. You can see uncertainty in his eyes, but he just wants to cuddle up and be safe. Stanley showed signs of separation anxiety when in a home all alone, however, with his foster siblings he is able to be left without humans. Therefore, Stanley will only be adopted into a home with other dogs. Stanley panics in a crate so ideally his family won’t plan to use one. Stan can go 4-5 hours being left without human companionship. Stanley is the sweetest guy ever, house trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines. Stanley is heartworm positive but we will provide treatment until he is negative! If you are looking for a well behaved cuddle monster Stan might be your guy! We promised Stanley that he would land in a perfect home where he would never be yelled at again. Stan is about 3 years old and is an adorable Beagle boy. He is in a foster home in NJ so anyone applying to adopt him must be willing to travel to NJ to meet him.
Update from foster mom on 1/15/17:
Why are we still searching for Stanley's forever family? Quite possibly the most handsome, most cuddly, quietest beagle ever is still available for adoption! Yes, Stanley may be claustrophobic and possibly does not like being alone (we aren't sure which) I mean who isn't a little claustrophobic and aren't you reading this because you seek companionship? Stanley is perfect in his foster home with free reign of the house and companionship of another dog. He is a couch potato and loves snuggling in bed with his people. We leave him with his foster siblings for a normal work day without incident. Stanley is an absolute joy to have in the home. We still ask that his adopter has another dog in the home to ensure Stan is comfortable. Stanley is possibly the easiest dog we have fostered yet. I mean just look at those beagle eyes! How could you not fall in love?!
