Boscov's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Boscov's Story...
Boscov was one of four cats surrendered to DHA on black Friday. Boscov is a cute black and white young boy with a white moustache. He is very playful and likes to explore. He likes people, especially if you're bearing toys. Boscov arrived with Macy, Dillard and Target and gets along very well with them. They are all very outgoing and the younger two (Boscov and Target) find comfort in the company of the others, but they do not need to be adopted together. Hopefully their stay with us will be short and they'll be in a new home for the new year.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boscov, a Wilmington Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
