Jack's Story...
Hey hey foxhound lovers! We would like to reintroduce you to Jack. He's made a full recovery, and is ready for adoption. Most importantly, we've learned that Jack is the PERFECT DOG! He is great with other dogs and children, is calm and gentle, and has wonderful house manners.
Jack entered our fostercare program from Caroline Co Animal control where he arrived with a list of medical problems-including a broken pelvis. That chapter of his life is behind him, and he is ready for a loving, indoor home! Contact us at for more information!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Staunton Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
