Hi! My name is Perseus. If you're looking for a cat who will be completely chilled and relaxed and lazy, then I'm definitely not the cat for you. But if you're looking for a crazy, fun loving cat who enjoys playing with paper, climbing walls, and weaving between your feet trying to trip you, well then I'm your guy! I am a sweet boy who was born on the day I was rescued. My mom and 4 siblings have all found their forever homes and now I'm patiently waiting for the perfect family to find me. Don't get me wrong, I love my foster home. I have 3 dogs who play with me, 2 are so big but they let me chase them in fun. There are also 2 other cats here who are very friendly and let me cuddle with them. There's a little girl here who likes to carry me around. As a bonus, she leaves little juice box straws all over the house as little presents for me. Straws and hair bands are my absolute favorite toys so this little girl must love me so much because I'm always finding them left out for me to play with. I'm only 9 months old so I'm still a kitten so don't let my size fool you. I like to spend my days playing and when it's time for bed, I like to curl up next to my foster mom and act as her personal heater through the night.
If you think I'm the purrfect cat for you, please fill out an application today! I can't wait to meet you!

About Coastal Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Our goal is to save as many pet lives as possible through rescue and to provide opportunities to the public to become better pet guardians.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
