I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Lola is listed as a Hound mix, but we think she could possibly a Belgian Shepherd mix? She is about 18 months old and weighs around 45 pounds. She had been at the Sampson County Shelter for almost six months and she was next in line for the bad stuff that happens to you when you are at the shelter for far too long. We pulled Lola out before it was too late for her. Although it is a very rural shelter we still do not understand why no one adopted her. She is the sweetest little girl ever and she has that cute, quirky "one ear up and one ear down" thing going on which makes her just too adorable for words! Lola has been spayed, is up to date on shots, has been wormed, tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly prevention. She is SUPER friendly and sweet and she loves all people and most all dogs (no cats). She rode all the way from Sampson shelter with a German Shepherd in the back seat with her! She loves to go for walks although she does need a little leash training. Once her walk is over she wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Lola is house trained and crate trained and hardly barks at all so, if your HOA allows her breed mix, she would be fine in an apartment or condo.
We are a small group of people that work full time at "normal" jobs, but we also feel in our hearts that we want to make a difference. Each of us have multiple pets and we just want to share our love with the pets that other people discard for one reason or another. We want to show that abandoned, lost or hurt dog that there is still love in the world and we can find it for them.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We do most of our adoptions on line, but do attend Petsmart on Saturdays. Not all of our pets are ready to come to Petsmart so even if our pets are not there, we will be there to take applications or to show you our book of pets that are available.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is similar to other Rescue groups. You will need to fill out an adoption application, provide a vet reference and tell us a little about yourself and why you want to adopt a rescue dog. Our adoption fees are $200 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm testing/heartworm free, wormings and spay or neutering of the dog. Senior dog adoption fees may be waived depending on the age and health of the dog.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
