Elroy is a smart young cat.  He saw the cats of one of our adopters through the window of her home and tried to get inside.  Good thing, too.  He had been attacked by something and had an infected wound above his eye and fur missing in patches on his body.  As you can see from his photos, he's all better now and looking for a family of his own.  Elroy is shy at first but warms up quickly.  He is very playful and will start to purr the second you touch him!  He also likes to be held, and is a real lap cat.  He's a people lover but gets along well with other cats.

You can view some of our adoptable cats and kittens at the Commerce Petsmart on the west side of Haggerty Road just north of 14 mile Road during store hours. If you are interested in adopting one or more of our lovable cats, please complete the online Adoption Application which you can find on our website at

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated volunteers, dedicated to finding homes for abandoned, no longer wanted cats and kittens. We also have a TNR program to prevent more unwanted kittens. We give medical help to injured cats and provide food to people who have cats but find it hard to buy food.
