Saul's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Saul's Story...
Saul is a purebred English Pointer and is such a sweet boy. He is six months old. He loves to romp and play and also loves his foster mom to rub and scratch his ears. He was raised to be a hunting dog but decided hed rather be loved on. He gets along with the other foster dogs but would rather have his moms attention. He will need socialization into a home environment as he has been raised as a field trial dog but he has quickly learned to love treats and hugs from mom. He is neutered, has all shots, is microchipped, wormed and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is 400.00. All he needs now is his own family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saul, a Hartford Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
