Indigo's Story...
Are you looking for a fun purr box?!? Indigo is your guy! He purrs almost non-stop. He is so affectionate. But also loves to just play. He loves all types of toys and knows how to properly use a scratching post instead of furniture. He uses the litter box with no issues! He had a very rough start. He came from a hoarding/neglect situation. When we picked him and 3 others up, he had such a bad Uri, he didn't have a meow. He was under a pound at almost 2 Months old. We believe that stunted his growth. He also runs with his tail on his back instead of up in the air. He has stunning blue eyes as well!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indigo, a Garner Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Garner, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Garner.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garner already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garner breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garner paves the way for another one to be saved.
