I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Able and Cain were taken in because their owners could not care for them but they did surrender them because they wanted them to get a good home. Cain found his forever home quickly but Able is still waiting. He has the beautiful colors of a brown and tan German Shepherd but is a bit smaller than a pure German Shepherd His coat is long and soft. Able is UTD on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped He is going through the slow kill method for Heart worms, but is adoptable now. He really needs a loving home with a yard for him to run in since he has had to live in a small kennel all his life. Able is 1 and 1/2 years old. If interested please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info and foster moms phone number.
We are a small group of volunteers that rescue dogs from local shelters to keep them from being euthanized. These dogs are then fostered at our homes, where they are vetted and then put up for adoption.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are usually at Pet Smart in Lafayette every Saturday. Check our Face Book page secondchancepaws to see if we will be there that Saturday and the times. Appointments can also be made with foster mom to meet potential adopter.
Our Adoption Process...
We require a small adoption fee and adopters must fill out applications prior to adopting from us.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
