Champ is an easy-going, friendly, 6 - 8 year old ~22 lb dog who looks like a Corgi or Dachshund mix. He's had his teeth cleaned since we rescued him, and had a few teeth pulled that needed to come out.
His preliminary bloodwork showed some results that will require more testing and he has been back and forth to the vet a number of times since then. His bloodwork is still abnormal and the vet is now recommending an ultrasound to check out his liver. The current estimate for the necessary testing is $800 - $1000. Champs foster mom says "Champ is an easy-going, friendly, 6 - 8 year old ~22 lb dog who looks like a Corgi or Dachshund mix. He is housetrained, and crate-trained. He gets along great with other dogs, and is GREAT with the cats in his foster home, and loves to go for walks. Champ has very good leash manners (better than we do, lol) he walks on his leash like a pro - he keeps to our left and he heels and if we get ahead of him he stops. He also doesn't mind playing dress up. Bonus! Whoever adopts this gentle gentleman will be very lucky indeed, and will have a great companion in Champ."
