GARTH's Story...
Just look at those big, sad eyes! This is GARTH and he will be arriving soon in the Denver area. He is a 7 year old unclaimed stray and did not have a great time on the town. He needs some love and attention with his diet and coat. The Texas vet says he could use about 20 pounds on him. He weighs in at 70 now, so he will be a whopper when he is back to full size! Garth must have had a decent home at one time, because he is heartworm negative - pretty rare for strays from Houston. If you have a big heart and an equally big, fluffy couch, Garth would appreciate spending some quality time with you as a foster or your main man forever. Why Adoption is a Great Option

GARTH, a Littleton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Littleton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Littleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Littleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Littleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Littleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
