BlackJack is a smart boy, loves people, will sit and does pretty well on the leash & crate trained. We were contacted on Thanksgiving that this boy needed some where to go and fast or he was headed for the shelter. He gets along very well with small adult dogs his first two buddies were two poodles. He is already 20/25lbs Has his first vaccine done & de worming. First transport he can go to an adoptive home would be Dec 17th arrival.

Most available pets for adoption start in foster care in KY/TN. This allows for time to start each animal on a vetting schedule ie de-wormer, vaccines, vet apts. This is for the animals health & well being.
This rescue has two forms of adoption and animals are posted where future foster homes may be. Direct adoption which is once an animal had been out of the shelter for 2 plus wks has two or more 5 way vaccines and your able to meet transport and take the pup home. Meet n greet adoption is IF the pet is not adopted first and arrives in foster care up north. This will occur once all vaccines, vetting and willing foster home is available. Transport takes adopted pets first from all agencies so availability depends on the transport companies open spots.
