Hello!!

My name is Barb and I'm an absolute doll baby! If you're looking for an easy going, easy to care for dog, I'm your girl! I'm very well behaved in the house, and absolutely adore to go on walks. I'm polite on the leash, and I'm very polite to strangers approaching me (I actually want them to pet me, and love getting the extra attention).

I'd do wonderful in almost any household! While I love walks, I'm not super energetic, I'm really easy going and would enjoy lounging around with you. I get SO excited when I see the people I love and my short little legs and feet dance up and down!!

I'm housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, friendly, outgoing and I'm great with kids, other dogs and cats! My coat is thicker, but doesn't take any additional work. My foster mom just gives me a bath once and awhile, and gets my nails trimmed! Talk about a low maintenance gal!

When I came into the rescue I was really overweight, I was 60 pounds and I should be about 40-45! So my foster momma has had me on a reasonable diet, and I love to go on walks, so I've been exercising the weight off! I've already lost a noticable amount of weight, which is awesome!

The vet says I'm about 7 years old and I'm healthy! I'm spayed, heartworm negative, on flea/heartworm preventative, vaccinated and microchipped! I'm ready to go home to my forever family!

We had to guess at my breed. I have the coat of a shepherd, but the height of a corgi! We do not truly know what breed I am, I am the true definition of a mutt!

Email my foster Mom, Jess, for more information about me, or text her at 352-278-6880 ! Or, fill out an application to adopt me!

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Please fill out an adoption application at our website, http://rescuinganimalsinneed.org/adopt/adoption-applications/ Please note that not all animals are at every adoption event: if you would like to schedule a meeting with a potential cat or dog, please fill out the application and contact the person listed on the animal's profile. Rescuing Animals In Need does not have an adoption facility: all of our adoptable pets are fostered in the homes of volunteers. Therefore, it is important to contact us beforehand to ensure we have the very latest information regarding your potential new pet!

About Rescuing Animals In Need

About Our Rescue Group...

R.A.I.N. is dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from local animal shelters, individuals who no longer want or cannot care for their pets, and animals who live their lives as strays. Our mission is to help the animals that we can, knowing that every single one that we save makes a difference. Volunteers work to care for, socialize, protect, medicate, and above all, love, these deserving animals. We are always in desperate need of foster homes for cats and dogs. The more temporary housing we can provide, the more lives we can save.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoptions are at petSmart, 4510 South Us 17-92, Casselberry FL. Adoptions are Saturdays and Sundays, 11-5. We also have an adoption center within the PETsMART where you can view just a few of our available pets during regular store hours!

Our Adoption Process...

Prospective Adopters must fill out an adoption application, either online at our website or by visiting us at PETsMART on the weekends. You must then meet with one of our counselors for a personal interview. At this time you can meet your desired pet as well. We may ask questions about your current situation, such as if you own any other animals and how you care for them. Every situation is unique, and we want you to have the pet that's right for you!
