Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JJ is a beautiful 8 year old neutered male JRT, weighing approx. 16lbs. JJ is a little slow to trust, but given time, he is very loving and playful. Sadly, JJ’s previous owners did not recognize that he suffered from anxiety and did not get him the necessary help, and ultimately abandoned him to a kill shelter. JJ does well with older children 13 & up. JJ would benefit from someone who is Jack savvy and can appreciate the breed for what it brings. JJ is on medication that involves 1 pill per day costing only $4.00 per month. He will more than likely be on this medication for the rest of his life as it helps control his anxiety. JJ knows all his commands, sit, stay, lie down, and touch. He brings a nice mix of playfulness, but also enjoys sleeping a lot. He loves to chase balls, and if it has a squeaker, he will entertain himself for hours. JJ is fine with other dogs. He sometimes gets a little anxious around them, but will only move to avoid them. JJ would do best in an environment with someone who is retired or works out of their house. If you would like to make JJ your newest family member, please contact us.
