Skye's Story...
Meet Skye, a sweet, soft 4 yr old red merle Australian Shepherd.
Skye is a very smart girl who knows how to sit, shake hands with her right paw, high-five with her left paw, and lay down, roll over and crawl with her entire body.

Skye is house trained and crate trained and she loves to be groomed.
Skye is looking for an active family who will have the time to incorporate her into their life. Sky can live with kids 10+. She would prefer to be a one-and-only dog, but she would be okay with a nice male canine buddy.
This beautiful girl will make some lucky family a loyal and loving family member.
Skye's adoption fee is $300 plus MN tax.
You may find an application to adopt at http://www.aussierescuemn.org/application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skye, a Minneapolis Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
