The letter “D”. “D”  is for Devotion and Duke. Put those 2 together and that’s me! Duke, the 11 month old GSD, is a lover of all! Dogs, kids, people, you name it and I love them. I’m oh-so-affectionate and would love to spend some time with you. My story from the past isn't the happiest. I was kept in someone's backyard and used to make babies and make money for him...When he got tired of taking care of me, he would just turn me loose and we lived near a very busy street. I wouldn't have made it much longer without my amazing foster mom stepping in to rescue me. I’m currently in a foster home, where I've been for a while, getting healthy, and loving it here. I would love it even more if I found the forever home that I’ve been Looking for. I do have some separation anxiety, but I have medication I take for that and need to be kenneled while you're gone. Email your number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com to meet me. I come neutered and vaccinated...and provide plenty of love and devotion! Brought to you by the letter “D”.

About Rock City Rescue- NY chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or lost. We pull dogs and cats who have been abandoned or owner surrendered. We also pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them be united with loving forever homes, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.

Our Adoption Process...

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that is signed once an adopter has been approved for an adoption. There is no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption feeds vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a variety of foster homes. We are full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 90% of the time we return calls and emails within 48-72 hours.
