Stevie Wonder's Story...
Stevie Wonder, just over a year old and partially blind, came to our rescue from the city shelter. He had been brought in as a stray after wandering the streets for weeks scrounging for food. Volunteers fell in love with him at the city pound and when we met him, we couldn't resist his sweet face and great zest for life!

Stevie is a sweet and fun dog, who will never stop showing his family love! He continually teaches us that even though he may be partially blind, all things are possible! Stevie enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home and hanging out in the backyard. Stevie gets an eye drop once a day just to keep his eyes in tip-top shape. He will likely need some sort of maintenance on his eye for life but he's been such a champ about his medicine that we know that won't hinder his ability to lead a normal, happy, and most importantly, healthy life!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stevie Wonder, a Warrenville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Warrenville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Warrenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warrenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warrenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warrenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
