Sire is a sweet young pup that was rescued from a local shelter. He loves his foster's resident dog & would do best in a home with another stable/confident dog to help him continue to learn to trust new people & build his self confidence. He has a history of guarding high value items and has been attending training to work on this - and has made great progress! Since his training, he has learned to trust his foster family and has had little to no issues with resource guarding in his foster home! We will require his forever family to attend one of the training sessions (located in Farmington) with us to understand the training method he has been learning & his training plan. Sire loves children, and would do great with respectful children if any age. He currently lives with a 4 year old boy and loves to play and snuggle with him! Since he will probably need time to learn to trust his forever family and continue his amazing progress with his guarding behaviors, we will require he go to a dog savvy home, to ensure we are setting him up for success as he continues to work on this as he grows out of his puppy stage and into a young adult.
