This handsome guy is a great cuddler, and despite his large size, he has the soul of a lap dog. His soulful eyes and big ears will melt your heart. Jackson would do well in a quiet household with older kids; a family with lots of time to love him and let him out for potty breaks. This super affectionate "leaner" just wants to be close to you.
Diagnosed with a neuromuscular condition called Myasthenia Gravis, Jackson walks at a slow pace due to weakened muscles in his back legs. Medication will help manage his condition. Make no mistake, though, Jackson loves being a dog, sniffing trees and bushes on his walks!
Jackson was found on the side of the road, unable to walk, but with lots of TLC, this resilient fellow is doing extremely well. He will continue to get better and better in a safe home where he can soak up all the love his people have to give. Jackson will return that loving care two-fold.
Jackson is looking for a patient, compassionate family to help him heal. Can you be Jackson's hero?
