Hi, I’m Bates. I’ve been living on the streets for awhile and as you can see by my face, they haven’t been all that kind to me. After I fathered six kittens (who are as good looking as me), I stuck around to help raise them and when rescue came for them and their mom, I thought it sounded like a good idea for me, too. See, I had some wounds that weren’t healing and they were making me uncomfortable. Plus, I was just tired of being on guard all the time. So tired. I'm feeling a lot better now that I've gotten to rest up in foster care. I absolutely love being a house cat! No interest at all at going back outside. So now I’m safe inside but I need to find a forever home. I'm looking for someone who wants a lap cat who will follow you all around and talk to you. I'm very chatty. I look tough but I'm a big softie and just want to snuggle for the rest of my days. I am good with other cats and love meeting new people so come say hello!

The adoption fee for an adult cat is $120.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
