THEIR STORY: Meet STorm. She was abandoned outside of an apartment complex when her owners moved. She then became pregnant and had her babies in the bushes. She was soaking wet and in a storm just before we rescued her and the reason she got her name.. Her babies have since all found loving homes and now it is her turn. She is spayed, vaccinated (distemper and rabies shot) dewormed, and has revolution on the back of her neck.
When I first held Storm, she shook uncontrollably. She was very frightened although she allowed me to hold her very easily. She hid under my daughters bed for about a week (which is quite common with adult cats). My 3 year old would charge her under the bed to say hello and Storm allowed that with no aggressiveness. She has NO mean bone in her body. She is very sweet even with my young children. After a week she started coming out and now when I visit with her she comes up to me for her pettings accompanied with a friendly meow. She loves to be petted and is quite the talker. She shares the room with another rescued kitten that she tolerates. I can hold her with ease and she likes kisses. She would do best in a home that is more on the quiet side. With no small kids that like to yell and scream (like my home lol). She would adjust a lot quicker in a quieter home. Sometimes when she gets petted she will knead any surrounding fabric or bedding.
******Just watch a few videos of her to see how she will interact once she gets to know you.
