THEIR STORY: Meet STorm. She was abandoned outside of an apartment complex when her owners moved. She then became pregnant and had her babies in the bushes. She was soaking wet and in a horrible storm just before we rescued her and the reason she got her name.. Her babies have since all found loving homes and now it is her turn. She is spayed, vaccinated (distemper and rabies shot) dewormed, and has revolution on the back of her neck.

She has NO mean bone in her body. She also allows endless kisses. She likes to make biscuits (kneading) in surrounding blankets and in her cat bed that she loves (video attached). She is also a talker. She also likes to drink water using her paws! Here is a short video of that:
Just like any newly adopted pet, she will need time to get adjusted to a new home. Right now she is in a foster home with a great family, but is ready for her FOREVER home. This is what her foster Lisa had to say about Storm:
"Storm is a wonderful kitty. Gentle and loving. She takes a moment to get to know you but when she lets you in, she is all love, loyalty and warmth. For the first few days with her she wouldn't come out from under the bed. I would just go in and sit on the floor and slowly she would approach me. She PURRS like nobody's business. She now waits at the door when she hears me coming> She makes the cutest little chirp sounds and will now hop up on the bed so I can pet her. She will rub up against me if I sit on the bed and will stretch out beside me. She would do best in a quieter home. She is a sweet cat that deserves a nice home- very gentle with me-never growled or hissed or swat, just PURRS."

******Just watch a few videos of her to see how she will interact once she gets to know you.

We don't want to see them given to the Humane Society (which can euthanize upwards of 50 or more cats a day like our local shelter) or left to fend for themselves on the streets. Please never let the humane society be a choice for ANY animal. They rely on us for their well-being******

About Furry Nation Salvation

About Our Rescue Group...

Furry Nation Salvation, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. We commit our resources throughout the county in finding permanent homes for abandoned, unwanted, and neglected animals. Run by dedicated volunteers, our work is a heartfelt collaboration in making a difference for the innocent animals without a voice. Our foster volunteers “one on one” care help our furry friends overcome any issues or problems and are able to truly get to know the animal to best fit them in their forever home. We also promote, practice, and work, in the area of TNR (trap, neuter, return). This method of population reduction and control for feral cats has proven to be successful and we are committed to this method. FNS strives to educate the public on the importance of spay and neutering their pets and provide locations where they are able to do so at a discounted price. We assist in transporting animals to and from veterinary clinics, and help individuals with adoptions as well as promoting their pets utilizing social media and animal adoption sites. We love what we do and together we make a difference for so many. Furry Nation Salvation’s current goal is to establish a dedicated rescue facility to be able to help even more animals in need.
