Watson The Braniac is an approx 2 yr old pony/dog mix (or potentially a great dane/weimaraner mix).
He was surrendered to a local shelter when he became ill and lost a bunch of weight, according to his former family. He has received some vet care for a possible partial GI blockage, that thankfully did not require surgery, as well as initial treatment for some little friends (tapeworms and fleas, gross) he was kind enough to let live on him. His appetite is back, his coat is looking nice and glossy and he appears to be starting to regain some of his much needed weight and looks to be on the road to recovery.
Watson is a very gentle boy, who loves all people he greets, is not a big barker, and makes himself at home anywhere he can manage to cram his big body. He can often be found sleeping upside down in the middle of the floor at Dog Town, when he feels its naptime. He is good with other dogs, but is a bit intimidated by very pushy dogs, and prefers the company of more polite and/or smaller dogs. Once he gets comfortable with someone he is prone to suddenly turn into a total goofball and suddenly play bow you and try to get you to play. While he is quite gentle for his size, he is definitely big and might knock over smaller kids (and possibly adults, because he is a horse) so he should meet any prospective kids in the home first.
Watson has a few special skills and commands. He knows how to sit, lie down, and will give you a ridiculous submissive smile if he feels you have earned it. He appears housebroken, although like most dogs we would expect some accidents as he gets used to a new environment and routine.
