Ophelia is a tiny adult female cat. She was a stray not claimed by an owner. She seems to want to be an only cat, so we think she had a rough outside life before coming here. She is friendly and loving to our staff, but needs an experienced owner who will just let her be her...
We are a municipal animal shelter funded by the cities of Woodhaven and Trenton, Michigan.
Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fees for all animals is $100. Prior to adopting an animal from us, you will be required to complete an adoption form. Completing the adoption application does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt that particular animal. Adoption approval is not based on first come, first served. The adoption is based on the best fit for the animal and the new adopter.
For all animals that are not altered at the time of adoption, a $50 deposit fee will be charged. The adopter will have 30 days to have the animal spayed or neutered. Once this is completed, the $50 deposit fee will be refunded.
Michigan State law requires all animals adopted from an animal shelter or rescue group to be spayed or neutered.
