My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who doesn’t LOVE a good Peanuts comic strip or TV Special? Now you can watch your own Peanuts story come to life with your very own Peanuts series, the cat version! Charlie Brown, your main character, has the sweetest little Tabby face. When you are sitting, he loves to cuddle in your lap or next to your leg. He also loves to play & wrestle with his sister. He is a rather quiet kitten, and that can be a good thing as he does not get into things as much as some other more adventurous kittens. This furry Charlie Brown lives by this quote from the original Charlie Brown: “If you ask me how long I'll be your friend? My answer will be, I don't know, ‘cause I really don't know which one is longer. FOREVER or ALWAYS?”

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our Pick A Pair page to see if his sibling is still available.

If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.

Starting 11/26/16, you can meet Charlie Brown at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.

Charlie Brown’s estimated date of birth is 8/1/16. His adoption fee of $135 includes his vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.
