Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A park worker found Apple in a Flint park, helpless and about to be attacked by two other dogs. Apple couldn't get away or defend herself, but she was lucky enough to be saved and taken to Genesee Animal Control. HFE stepped in from there to help her. Her right deformed paw needed surgery and she also tested positive for heartworm. Apple has completed her treatment and is now heartworm negative and 52 pounds. Apple is otherwise a happy, funny 2-3 year old girl. She is very curious about everything, sticks to her foster mom's side, and gets along well with other dogs. Apple can pretty much do everything that other doggies do even though part of her front paw had to be amputated. She is very playful and loves her toys, especially stuffed animal ones. Sadly Apple has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma. We need donations so she can undergo chemo and extend her life. All donations are tax deductible.
