Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome cat is Blackie. He is one of several cats brought to us by a local animal lover. Cats and dogs are dumped out in the country by her home, and she rescues them by making sure that they are fed and spayed or neutered. This summer she had so many strays show up at her house that she asked us for help finding them homes. When Blackie came to us, he was completely shut-down, pretending he was invisible when any of us attempted to interact with him. We continued to treat him kindly and offer him love, and he gradually came out of his shell and offered us his trust. He’s become a very sweet cat who likes it when you pet him.
