My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey folks, I'm Esme. I'm a 6 year old spayed female Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix. Not only am I spayed, I'm also current on my vaccines and microchipped. I'm move-in ready!

I would describe my personality as calm, sweet, friendly and outgoing. I get along great with everyone I meet - humans and canines alike. I love to cuddle in any available lap, and I wouldn't turn down a nice belly rub either ;)

I was found as a stray wandering the streets of Los Angeles, so my friends at CageFree don't have much information about my background. The only thing they knew for sure when they met me at the pound was that I'm an amazing, sweet dog who deserves a loving forever home. So they promptly welcomed me into their facility and made it their mission to find me one.

Although I'm not exactly a young dog, I still enjoy being active. I absolutely love my daily walks, and I bet I would like a hike, beach and dog parks, too.
