This is Boo, a 3 year old spayed female English Bulldog. Boo has many typical Bulldog traits – she’s stubborn, affectionate, noisy, sometimes messy, can overheat easily in warm weather, and has tail and facial skin folds that require daily attention and cleaning. Boo is most definitely a “people” dog and is doing well with the three resident dogs in her foster home. She loves to go for walks and does well meeting people and dogs on leash. She also loves to ride in the car and is house trained. Boo always wants to be included, but she does fine staying home alone when necessary. She is a vocal dog, so she might be best suited for a house instead of a condo or apartment. She likes to bark, squeal, and howl for attention. Boo is looking for an adopter who has Bulldog or bully breed experience and is more than willing to care for her skin (prevention is key!). Resident dogs should be laid back and tolerant. Since we aren’t sure how Boo will do with cats or small children, please ask. Since Boo is in foster care and not at the adoption center , please contact Sam at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to know more or schedule a time to meet Boo. You can reference her animal ID number A816801.
Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-7pm and weekends from 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650/340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor or 650/340-7022 x823 anytime to hear a recording of our available animals (updated each morning). Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
