Brendan's Story...
Brendan is a handsome 1 year old border collie/lab mix. He is very calm and likes to just hang out. If you are getting ready for a long winter of Netflix binges he would be a great buddy to hang with. He loves people and dogs. He walks well on a leash and loves getting treats so should be easy to train. He has big gorgeous eyes that are hard not to get lost in. Come meet this handsome man and you are sure to fall in love. He would make a great family or companion dog. This sweet boy will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 12/3 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this boy, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brendan, a Fort Collins Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
