Olivia's Story...
Posting Date: 11/28/16
Approximate Age At Posting: 3 months

Hi, my name is Olivia.

I'm a petite kitten with patches of grey tabby and white. I'm quiet and sweet. When I came into the shelter, I had some injury to my tail that the vet thinks may have been caused by another animal, but I am being treated for that and my tail seems to be healing well. The fur is growing back and soon I'll be as good as new, and ready for some fun with you. I am tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Please come visit me.

Shelter hours for visitation are Thursdays 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm . The shelter is closed for Holidays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Greenfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Greenfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Greenfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
