Odin is a beautiful 8 year old Norwich Terrier who is happy to be in his foster home, living the good life and waiting for his forever family to discover him. Odin was rescued from a puppy mill when he was 5 years old. At 8 years old he was surrendered due to a biting issue with the owner?s husband. He is a great dog, however it?s clear that his 5 years in the puppy mill left its mark on him. He is skittish, taking some time to trust his humans. We have hope that his behavior issues and fear can be addressed with consistent training as Odin is a very smart dog. Odin is kennel trained and house trained. He does well on a leash, and would love a fenced yard to run and play. Odin has not been around kids. He can be around other dogs, but is a bit of a bully so might do better with no other dogs in the home. Odin's adoption fee is $300.

About Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota

About Our Rescue Group...

Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota (SDR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all-volunteer no-kill group committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs 20 pounds and under.

Dogs are fostered in volunteers' homes so they can be loved like a family member until they are placed in a suitable adoptive home, determined by a review of a written application, a criminal background check, several reference consultations, and a home visit.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events a few times a month in different locations throughout Minnesota. You can see where we'll be by visiting our Events Page on our website at

Our Adoption Process...

1. Complete an adoption application at:

2. Allow up to 10 days for SDR to process your adoption application. It will be reviewed by an SDR representative and references will be checked.

3. If the application is aproved, a home visit will be conducted to ensure a good match with the applicant & the dog.

4. If SDR determines a good match has been made, an adoption contract between the adopter and SDR will be completed. An adoption fee + applicable MN state sales tax are due at the time the contract is signed.
