Asami will steal your heart with her quiet, gentle ways. She has apparently been kenneled all her life and has never been played wth or given toys. She doesn’t know what a ball is for and never learned how to play. She needs someone who would love to teach her about the good things in the world, take her places and explore with her and delight in her joy in learning new things. We don’t think she has ever had a loving relationship with a person and she is so ready for one. It’s hard to imagine this beautiful girl wasn’t treated like a queen with lot of pets and scratches and taught how to behave in the world. She’ll need some emotional support to give her self esteem and help her to experience a loving relationship. She is learning to walk nicely on leash and has learned how to sit and lie down.
If you are interested in meeting Asami please complete an adoption or foster application on our website below. You will also find our available dogs on both our webpage and Facebook page below.
The adoption donation for most healthy adult dogs is $300. Special consideration is given to senior and special needs dogs. This amount only partially covers the cost of vet care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. All dogs will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and be current on vaccinations. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis.
