Aaron's Story...
Aaron is one of Addi's puppies. He was born in May and still has lots of puppy in him. He is lovable and easier on smaller kids than some puppies at this age. Lots of puppy energy and will need a lot of structure over the next 6 to 9 months to help become the amazing dog he is meant to grow into. We are looking for families with older kids, time for training, structure and daycare. He is in our Frankfort adoption center. Fill out an application online at www.alsiptotherescue.org or a questionnaire in the adoption center to meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aaron, a St John Beagle/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Coonhound (Unknown Type) for sale in St John, or seeking a Beagle/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in St John.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St John already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St John breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Coonhound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Coonhound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St John paves the way for another one to be saved.
