HHPP is thrilled to present the next great addition to your family, energetic Bella. This gorgeous gray Stratfordshire Terrier mix will steal your heart when you see how playful & adorable she is, she gets so excited when meeting new people. Bella is 2+ years old & weighs about 70lbs, so she’s a big enough dog for you to play & roughhouse with, but she will still cuddle up with you. Bella was found abandoned on the street, being hassled by a pack of males, but a pair of Good Samaritans saved her & took her in to find her a furever home. Bella loves kids & her foster’s other dogs, she loves to roughhouse play with both, but does not like cats at all. This is a dog that needs physical activity, & a family that is willing to train her properly. Bella is potty-trained, but has no leash manners yet, and is rambunctious & very strong. Bella has been fully vetted, spayed, & microchipped, and we believe she would be the perfect dog to complete any family. Please let’s make your home Bella’s furever home.
Houston Homeless Pet Project ("HHPP")is a core group of dedicated dog rescue volunteers who, between us, have over 50 years of experience in rescue in the Houston metro area. We are the rescue of last resort for those good Samaritans who find homeless dogs and are just trying to help. We are also the rescue of last resort for those hopeless animals that find themselves out of time at local shelters. We provide rescue care, rehabilitative services, foster care and adoption placement to abandoned and stray dogs in the Houston metro area. HHPP is an all-volunteer, foster based rescue. We don't have a shelter and rely on foster homes to provide our rescues with warm, loving home environments until they can adopted by permanent families.
Our adoption events are held all over Houston. Please visit our website at www.hhpprescue.org under the Upcoming Events tab to see where we'll be next.
Our Adoption Process...
1. Complete an Adoption Application 2. Include veterinarian information and two personal references 3. A home visit is scheduled 4. A meet and greet is scheduled so your new family member can meet the rest of the family 5. If the meet and greet goes well, the adoption contract is signed and the adoption fee is paid.
Adoption fees are $200 for adult dogs and $250 for puppies one year and less.
