Pippa's Story...
Please welcome this sweet little peanut, Pippa, to the BTN. She was known as #49 in the Shelter. Horrible and not a good name for this sweet girl. BTN saved this girl from a high kill shelter in Texas just in the knick of time. You can tell she wasn't used to the luxuries of living life as a loved pet. She is TINY, sweet, obedient, potty trained, and loves her crate, her foster's daughter, and playing with her new doggy friends. She is getting some much needed vet care and gaining some weight and then she will be ready to find her new family!! For more information about Pippa please email ireneb@boxertransfer.org or tracym@boxertransfer.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippa, a Westminster Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
