Oaklie the lovely black and white kitty with a black "mustache" is looking for just the right home of her own. She may be uncertain or just a little coy when you first meet her but with some time and patience Oaklie will soon emerge and will be spending time in your lap. She is such a sweet, gentle girl.

If you can give her the calm home she needs, you will find your lap and heart will be a lot warmer than before getting to know this beautiful cat. Please provide Oaklie a small space (bathroom, bedroom, den) when you first bring her home. Outfit that small place with her food and water, toys, bed and litter box. Visit her frequently and talk with her so she gets to know you and you get to know her. Stay with her awhile when you feed her, enjoy some lap time and play with her with a wand toy. Soon you will be best of friends.

When Oaklie is running up to you when you enter the room and you feel comfortable that she is bonding with you, she will ready to explore other areas of your home. Make sure she always has a quick path back to her safe room and her litter box. If your home is very large or 2 stories you will need to provide Oaklie with 2 or more litter boxes.
