Hi my name is Bianca or you can call me Miss B. I am a petite, all white kitty with amber eyes and about 3.5 years old. My foster mom says I am the most beautiful cat in the world and that my fur is like silk. It embarrasses me when she talks like that about me…aren’t all cats beautiful? I’m a bit shy when I first meet new people. I’d love it if you had a safe place for me and gave me time to get to know you. Once I do get to know you, I am a very friendly and affectionate girl. I will greet you with a soft meow and rub against your legs with happiness when you come home. I love to be pet and will purr and purr and give lots of head bumps. One of my favorite things to do is to lay stretched out by my person. I’m also playful. You can quickly win me over with a feather on a stick and I would love a few balls and little stuffed toys to bat around. You’re probably wondering why a girl like me is homeless. My wonderful mom died a few months ago. Before she went she said her only wish was for me to find a loving forever home. I sure miss my mom. Right now I’m in something called a foster home. I hid initially but not for long. I like my foster parents but would sure like my own home. I’m looking for a quiet home. I think I would do OK living with a mellow cat if we were slowly introduced. I’m not sure about dogs. They kind’ve scare me. I am a sweet cat and all I ask for is a safe place with lots of love and I will give all kinds of love and affection in return. Could my forever home be with you?
OK my foster mom said to put this…doesn’t mean much to me but maybe it will to you. I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, have tested negative for FELV/FIV and have been deflead and dewormed. My adoption fee is just $75 (this money will help another homeless cat like me) and I come with a free vet visit. I’m currently in foster. If you’d like to meet me, call Beth at 541.255.9296.

About West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for companion animals of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd. WCDC works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. WCDC is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help WCDC save as many animal lives as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 11-4pm Sat.-Sun.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.
