My name is CLARK and I am a handsome little black and gray tabby male kitten with white fur in a tuxedo pattern (including 4 cute white feet). I enjoy playing with my siblings and my foster family, and love to sleep next to them on the couch. All the kitties in my foster home are really fun to play with too…..I get along with every kitty that has come into our household. They also have a dog, and I am doing great with her. My foster moms have a five-year-old neighbor come by and play with all of us so that we get used to kids. He is so sweet to us, and if any one of us is too shy, he pays special attention to ensure that we conquer our fears. I came to my foster home with my 6 siblings when we were less than a week old, and we were raised as bottle babies -- so I am very attached to humans! I grew up big and strong, and I love to snuggle, purr, and play with mice toys. Like most active young kittens, I would do best being adopted into a household with at least one other playful young animal for me to buddy up with. His adoption fee is $110 ($200 for 2 kittens), which is strictly to help cover our costs. He has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed—plus you get a free vet visit. Clark is temporarily in foster care getting over a minor gastrointestinal upset. For more information, please call Beth at (541) 255-9296 .

About West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for companion animals of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd. WCDC works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. WCDC is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help WCDC save as many animal lives as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 11-4pm Sat.-Sun.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.
