Duck's Story...
Meet duck! Duck is a 1yr old male neutered mixed breed black and grey
Very playful energetic puppy. He loves to have a play companion and isn't picky about their size. He is crate trained and let's you know when he has to go potty. He does need a little more work on leash training. He is very treat motivated and picks up quickly what you are trying to teach. He does have so much energy that if left by himself he will over groom (mainly his tail) but this is resolved with treats while you are away or a friend to play with. He is great with kids, but should be watched around New walkers (he doesn't have control of that tail yet)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duck, a Indianapolis Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
