Can Kingston spare a minute of your time? Would you please take a few moments to listen to a story about a very special dog? This is our beautiful 2 year old, 45lbs Catahoula mix, Kingston. He is actively searching every face he sees, with his big sweet glossy brown eyes, for his new forever family. Kingston is a very calm natured boy and only always wants to be close to you, and to feel your affection and love. He enjoys cuddling up with his foster mom in the evenings and playing with his foster siblings, after a nice big doggie dinner of course. He can be a tad bit timid at times, but this is only because Kingston wasn't always treated like royalty as he deserves. Kingston came to us as a stray and had been homeless for over a month. When he arrived in his foster home, he had not eaten in several days, as he had to scrounge for any food he had when out on his own. Since his rescue, Kingston has experienced human kindness and a warm loving home for likely the first time in his life. Perhaps Kingston has finally gazed into the eyes of his forever family? Could you continue to treat this King like royalty? Please, if you would like to meet our special boy Kingston, fill out an adoption application for him today.

THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide, so distance is not a problem in most areas. We have a variety of transportation options to bring your new family member to you. Typical transport cost to the northeast is $150, but may be less depending on your location (Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA residents.)

How To Adopt | Adoption Application | Pet Inquiry Form | Long Distance Adoptions

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Adoption donations vary and are subject to change without notice. Thank you for thinking adoption first!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

About A.A.R.F. TN to NJ Connection

About Our Rescue Group...

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue located in the Upper Cumberland Region of Middle Tennessee where animal control issues are out of control. A.A.R.F. is making a difference not only in the lives of these wonderful, abandoned and neglected animals, but also in our community. We encourage you to see the wonderful dogs and puppies that we have available for adoption – and the best part is that we have a local transportation company, P.E.T.S. LLC (as seen on Animal Planet’s “Last Chance Highway”) right next door!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter in the New England area. Therefore it is not possible to meet our rescues in person prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new families each week! The professional transport service is certified through the USDA. Our rescue dogs can be returned to us if things don't work out. We want each adoption to be for a forever home, so we try very hard to make sure it's the right match! Video conference meetings available and encouraged.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with the submittal of an Adoption Application online and a phone interview with one of our adoption coordinators. To be sure the long distance adoption is the right match for both the dog and family, we offer virtual video conference meeting for your new family member. Following verification and approval of your adoption application, we will arrange a professional transport of our new family member to your area. Our adoption donations range from $200-$300 depending on circumstances of the rescue dog, age, breed, etc. Professional transportation for your new family member is $150. We require a signed contract, driver's license and vet reference.
