LANA HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. What a beauty! Lana is a 5 year-old Collie/Husky mix female with a gorgeous face and equally fabulous personality. She found herself homeless at an overcrowded rural county dog shelter and went into a foster home from there since she was very frightened at the shelter. Lana then made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could take her time finding the perfect new home. We were impressed with her demeanor from the minute we met her. She arrived in need of a brushing and sat very patiently while we worked on her long coat. Her pics were taken the day she arrived here but since then she’s had a grooming and now looks even more beautiful. She will need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best so that’s a consideration that prospective adopters must take into account with her. Lana gets along well with all other dogs that she’s met so far and the shelter that she came from reported that she seemed to be fine with cats too. She has excellent crate manners in her foster home and walks quite well on a leash. We think you’re going to be as enamored with her as we are! Lana weighs about 50 pounds although she looks larger than that. Her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Lana. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.  Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Lana and to submit an online application.

About Canine Lifeline

About Our Rescue Group...

Canine Lifeline is an all volunteer 501(c)3 organization with a mission to save adoptable dogs from being euthanized at shelters due to overcrowding or treatable medical conditions such as heartworm. All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout northeast Ohio.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Canine Lifeline takes adoptable dogs to Petco in Macedonia most Sunday's. We also participate in many adoption events throughout the summer months. Please check our website at www.caninelifeline.org for the most current adoption event listing.

Our Adoption Process...

All Canine Lifeline dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations including a one-year rabies, and are on monthly heartworm preventative. In the warmer months of the year, our dogs are also on a flea and tick preventative. The adoption fee for dogs 7 months up to 7 years of age is $200. Senior dogs may be adopted for a reduced fee of $125. Puppies 6 months and under are $275. Since all of our dogs come from shelters and have been stray or abandoned at least once in their lives, we want to make sure that their next home is for keeps. That’s why each adoption comes with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a perfect match before the adoption is finalized.
